But my grandmother was a "Schneider". The Schneiders lived in Germany, Kaiserslautern. Kaiserslautern was former Bavaria, today it is Rheinland-Pfalz. Maybe there are mutual ancestors? In a document I found a registration to Jakob Schneider (1850-1913): civil rights: Art. 30 Abs. 10 d..... (I can´t read ist). Nobody can say exactly, what this means.
